North Bay ON, CANADA.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! #merryandwhite
I absolutely love when a fresh layer of snow falls, covering every branch and needle of each and every tree. Although here in the "great white north" we often complain about the hardships and inconveniences that winter brings no one can deny that it is one of the most beautiful times to be out in nature. Snow beautifies everything it covers and the result is often magical - not to mention that it provides the perfect backdrop for taking photos.
This week's outfit features a thicker, warmer version of the infamous bomber jacket. This particular jacket is from Dresslily and it's on sale now for just fourteen dollars! This is the second item that they've sent me for review (along with the Wifey shirt from my last outfit post) and I have to say I've already gotten a lot of use out of it!
What I love about this particular jacket is that it's double the thickness of a regular bomber making it suitable for wear on those milder winter days.
The satin-look and feel of the fabric provides a touch of luxe appeal in addition to the sturdy gold zippers on the front and sleeves of the coat.
For this post I wanted to create a sporty casual look that would allow me to trudge through the deep snow comfortably. This being the case, I paired the jacket with leggings, a ballcap, mittens, a scarf, and my new winter boots from Shoedazzle. I love how the faux fur elements of the scarf, mittens, and boots tie this whole outfit together. To finish off this look I went with a ponytail and gold hoops for a bit of attitude and fashionable flare.
Hope you like this week's blog post! I've linked the jacket at the bottom of the page as well as all of my other outfit details.
Stay warm! xo
