So last week it snowed A LOT! While the snow provided a lovely backdrop for these pictures I have to say that personally I'm not really into the whole "snow in April" deal. Life in Canada....

 

Fortunately we are now experiencing some spring-like temperatures and it feels great. I'm really looking forward to transitioning into a spring wardrobe and posting some spring-inspired fashion. Cue the feminine dresses and beautiful shoes!

 

Today I'm keeping it short and sweet with a quote that speaks for itself: be confident and believe in yourself. I think a lot of people get so caught up in their everday lives that they put certain dreams on hold and make excuses as to why they can't fulfill them. Outside influences such well-meaning people claiming to be "the voice of reason" can also be a preventative factor that keeps us from doing the things that we've always wanted to achieve; whether on a large or small scale. 

 

Here is some encouragement to get out there and, as the Nike slogan says, "Just do it." Life is too short to put things on hold. If you really want something in life whether it be a lifelong dream or a small wish, it is always within your power to make a change. We are fortunate enough to live in a country where the world is literally at our fingertips. If you believe in yourself you can do anything so go out there and do it! Live your life to the fullest!
