CROP TOP & PALAZZO PANTS

Zaful Collaboration

FASHION

 CORBEIL ON, CANADA.

This week I'm collaborating with Zaful, an online clothing boutique that boasts a huge selection of on-trend clothing, shoes, and accessories.

After taking a look at some of their merchandise I picked out this very feminine ruffled crop top and flared palazzo pants twin-set. One of the things that I love about this outfit is its originality. I don't think I've ever come across someone wearing a set quite like this. Not only is the flower print bold and vibrant, in addition the cut and tailoring are feminine and flattering; a winning combination.

This is the first time that I've ordered from Zaful, although I admit I've visited their website and filled a shopping cart once or twice...

Overall I had a very pleasant experience with this company and I would order from them again.

In terms of fit, the sizing chart runs true to size. I ordered a size small and at 5'ft, 4"in. and 130lbs both the top and the bottoms fit perfectly - I didn't even have to hem the pants! I did however alter the top. While it fit very well I just found that it overwhelmed my small frame and I like to stick with the rule 'fitted on the top, loose on the bottom' or vice versa. I tend to stay aways from flowy tops and I found that it was more suited to my personal style once altered.

I chose to pair this twin-set with a leather belt, orange wedges, an off-white vintage purse, and my favourite hoop earrings. The styling of this outfit was inspired by cultural Caribbean dress which similarly boasts bright colours, off-the-shoulder ruffles, big hoop earrings, and cinched waists.

While I love wearing neutrals I can never resist an outfit that's popping with colour and the flower print contrasting with the navy blue of this twin-set is dramatic to say the least. This outfit is fun to wear and fun to look at; I'll definitely be bringing it with me on my next tropical getaway...

In terms of the quality of Zaful's clothing I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I have seen and read a lot of reviews on this brand, both good and bad, but my experience was nothing but pleasant. The rep I dealt with was friendly, the shipping was prompt, and the clothing arrived in perfect condition, void of any mix-ups.

The only slightly adverse thing that I can mention is that the clasp to button up the pants was not sewn on very securely so I had to re-tack it myself. That being said I find this to be the case with quite a few brand name retailers and I often end up re-attaching buttons and clasps myself - so the only 'problem' I came across didn't lessen my opinion of the brand. Regardless you really can't beat the price at just forty dollars for this full set! (see the bottom of the page for direct links).

What do you think of this look? I'd love to hear from you! You can leave a comment below or visit my contact page to send me a personal message.

Also, if you love this look be sure to check out Zaful's website for more clothing that is anything but boring!
