GINGERSNAPS

YOU WILL NEED:

 

3/4 cup Butter

1 cup White Sugar

1 Egg

1/4 cup Molasses

2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 tbsp Ground Ginger

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

2 tsp Ground Baking Soda

1 tsp Salt

+ a bit of extra sugar to use as a sprinkled topping

Bake at 350 F for about 10 minutes.

 

 

Every year around Christmas I love baking these delicious cookies! There's nothing quite like curling up in a blanket with a cup of coffee and a couple gingersnaps, especially on a cold winter's night.

 

This recipe is extremely easy to make. First, mix your wet ingredients together (butter, sugar, egg, molasses) and in a separate bowl combine your dry ingredients (flour, ginger, baking soda, and salt). Then slowly add your dry ingredients into your wet mixture and stir. After this, roll dough into approximately 1 inch balls, place on a baking sheet, and flatten with a fork. For a little extra sweetness sprinkle with white sugar and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
